The
International Cricket Council (ICC) Chief Executives Committee on 23 June 2015 permitted
amendments to the ICC playing conditions.
The
approvals were given during the ICC Annual Conference held in Barbados.
The key
changes were
• In One
Day Internationals (ODIs), there will be no necessary catchers from the first
to the 10th over.
• In ODIs, no batting powerplays will be allowed between the 15th and 40th over.
• In ODIs, five fielders will be allowed outside the 30-yard circle between the 41st and 50th over, rather than the current four.
• In ODIs and T20Is, all no-balls, not just foot faults, will lead to a free hit.

These
playing conditions will come into effect for series starting on or after 5 July
